PREPARE Magazine May 2013It doesn’t matter if you are new to eye-opening adventure of preparation or if you’ve spent the last quarter century building on your plan, we all could use a little checkup from time to time on our attitude and outlook of this journey. That’s why this month’s digital issue of PREPARE Magazine hopes to mainly focus on the one thing that can get side-lined or even hijacked during this experience:  Your Attitude of Preparedness.

With the chaos around us, what mass media informs omits or skews, or the overwhelming doomsayers on the internet, it’s true that at times it’s hard to see the silver linings to a preparedness lifestyle.  Trust us.  There are many!

Much of this journey requires a healthy, balanced development of The Preparedness Mindset to truly have that Peace of Mind When it’s Time.  Perhaps you’re at odds with family members or friends and feel you are constantly Combating Resistance of a Preparedness Attitude or maybe struggling with Getting Kids into the Garden willingly.  We here at PREPARE Magazine want to offer your attitude a little encouragement and we feel these articles can help you along the way.

Maybe you are struggling with feeling like a lone wolf or wondering how you can ‘do it all’ by yourself.  That’s why we want to offer hope for Developing Your Preparedness Community. To combat letting the wrong attitude invading as events and circumstances change around us, it’s a good idea to be proactive and know how to handle Situational Depression.

To round out a healthy, well balanced attitude, often gaining skills will help with a sense of confidence in your ability to approach the future. So we don’t want to leave out reminding you to be equipped so that you are Preparing Beyond Your Storage Foods and learning some Alternative Growing Methods. Given where you may live or the time of year some Wind Mitigation Tips may help you rest more assured as would curling up with a good book. So be sure to check out the Book Review:  Survival Mom:  How to Prepare Your Family… to see what you can glean that might help you and your family.

We want to send out a Special Thank You and recognize the encouraging participants of PREPARE Magazine and we hope you will take the time to read our heart-felt Thank You letter to the Special Partners & Special Contributors. This wonderful group of folks along with you, our readers, are the heart-beat of PREPARE Magazine.  We are truly Blessed to be able to serve with and among each of you.
